I gave up fast food one time. I actually amended that to "any place with a drive-thru" and I saved so much money doing that

I gave up sodas once too, and lost a bit of weight. It was months before I got back into it once Lent was over.

one year i gave up bagel bites (i had a serious addiction to them in college)

another year i gave up starbucks coffee (another thing i've had a love affair with). i ended up giving up starbucks for like a year after that.
