haven't been to the JJ's on H-boro


but I will say that every other JJ's i've been to has been above average for a sub place.

JJ's > firehouse > Zero's > blimpies > subway

Jimmy John's is better than Subway or Quiznos, but Jersey Mike's is the best IMO. HT subs are damn good for the money when you get the special.

i used to really not enjoy JJ subs, i still think they are a little overrated. But one has opened up about a mile from my office and they bring us sample subs almost twice a month. For that they've gotten my business a lot more. Vito w/ extra peppers

I've worked at local delis all my legally working life, and I don't see why Jimmy Johns is considered the end all be all. I get no boner from their sandwiches.

I would much rather buy some 2.99 6-pack baked onion Kaiser from Food Lion, 1 pound of cracked pepper turkey, and a half pound of either Munster or Pepper. Add the necessary condiments of deli mustard, mayo, and tomato, and you will feast for a week at cheaper prices... and it's way more tasty.

I do like Jimmy Johns, but I'd go to a local deli any day.

Any deli can add a ton of ill-matched meats together until they form a mass of largely flavorless deli blobs.

This sandwich isn't actually on the menu but you guys should try the Fight Club. Just get a #5 + roast beef and whatever freebies you want. It's like $.45 more than a regular club but it's really good.
