I love the home movie of my 6th grade play. We did an on stage version of Oregon Trail.

I played the son and I got dysentery and died half way through.

A nonmusical play is usually boring as shit.

I guess Waiting for Godot if done right can be pretty good.

Well I prefer musicals myself...I mean I basicaly live in a musical...

However I need to perform one scene from a play and I'm trying to get some ideas...everyone does shakespeare...and honestly I'm so tired of Shakespeare...

I perfer more modern (1900's) plays...so I just wanted to get some ideas so I can read them and figure out what scene I want to perform.

Do Blake's speech from Glengarry

It's not in the play, but most people won't know that, or even care if you nail it

Okay...just in case some of y'all were confused....

A musical has singing and dancing in it....and I asked to please exclude musicals....

But thank you for your effort anyway!

I mean I could totally do a monologe instead if wanted to...but I wouldn't mind enlisting other people to perform with me so I was kinda looking for a play...

I wanted to do The Importance of Being Earnest....but someone already did it

I am bad at picking favorites ... Greater Tuna for hilariousness. Our Town because it brings back good memories. Under Milk Wood because it's different.

^I'm not asking because I don't like musicals....as I have said many times before I fucking love musicals and I wish I could live in one....

But I cannot do a musical when I do my performance...I'm getting ideas.

I mean, who doesn't love an off-off Broadway comedy about Pepe, the Mexican mime chef?

I'm so angry at the people who did Importance of Being Earnest cause they fucked it up....but I can't do it cause someone got to it first!

I think I might look for Our Town in the library...

doesn't look like my schools library has it and all the public libraries have it checked out

wtf?

Okay A Doll's House looks like something I will be able to pick up to read...I'll try to do that sometime soon.

So yea, do it.

Someone was lying to you.

I had to watch a play about blind swimmers with mental retardation two years ago. It was good but not in the way they intended.
