Be nice to bomber and take him out. He'll live with you waking him up.

yeah dogs don't really care if you wake them up as long as you interact with them

I think if you share the responsibility of taking care of him, then he's at least a little bit yours.

take the dog outside. It takes a few minutes at most, and once inside the dog will most likely lay back down and go to sleep. He will not be bothered that you woke him up.

My puppy has never pooped in the house.......she has however decided to piss everywhere, but only when she is excited...or scared...or lonely...or for S and Gs

haha my dog barely has accidents anymore but i take her ass out all the time

if its just a day where i'm lazy we only go out like 4x a day

but if i'm not being lazy i take her out more.

i'm just not a fan of shit and pee

esp since one of my cats has decided to start peeing indoors on furniture

OK, i took him out. i don't want Pat reading this when he gets back next week and think that I was a bad dogsitter

sure enough, he squirted about 5 mL of peepee on his hind leg and then pulled me back inside

My doggy is about 60lbs and poops once or twice a day. They are large and often nasty. The rest of the day involves sleeping and the occasional freak out spinathon imediately followed by more sleep.

is it your roommate's dog?

If so, don't take him out. Then in the morning, if there's a pile of shit on the floor, act accordingly.

You say: DUDE, WTF?!?! THE DOG SHIT ON THE FLOOR. EITHER TRAIN THE MOTHER FUCKER OR TAKE HIM TO THE POUND.

If he questions you about whether or not you took him out, say that you did, and start blaming him for other things that happen in your household, such as stealing lemons from your lemon trees.

^ he's in Utah.

but had there been some shit or piss on the floor in the morning, I would have taken care of business and then blamed in on a burglar

hahaha ok. first off the dog is like 25 pounds. secondly, i have also dogsat bomber before and he poops like twice a day. just make sure you take him out about 4 or 5 times a day and he's fine. he's actually a very well-trained dog and has never had an accident in the few times i've watched him.

he is a bit of a girl though.....takes after his dad.

Yeah, Tim was lying...

Anyway, this dog is kind of being annoying recently. He growls at me and messes with me pretty much all day to play... and then asks to go outside and just sniffs around w/o shitting.

Blah, I'm not cut out to own a dog yet.

Ha, maybe howls is a better word than growls.

Anyway, I put the fireplace on and that thing is like crack to him. He just lays in front of it.

I'd suggest taking him to the dog park but I know he doesn't really like playing with other dogs-

And on another note... Pat does have entirely too much vacation
