http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-cM9S2AzU28

Is it real? Or the wonders of video technology?

There is a whole big bowl full of fruit, as well as a couple of large round bowls/vases full of water. And there are forks and spoons. IOW, a large disparity in mass between the various objects on the table. I would have thought that the heaviest objects would have impeded the smooth flow.

Either way, totally worth a watch!

They left a bit of slack in the line, which would create the jerk necessary to overcome the static friction...

I'm gonna go with plausible on this one

i think it's suspicious you couldn't really see the whole table when he started pulling, and there wasn't more angles or closeups of the table.

still plausible though, i guess

i would think someone at the end would be holding the table cloth so it doesnt snap like when you pop a towel

theres a thin piece of plexi that all the dishes are sitting directly on top of. the table cloth is between this plastic and the table. i'd bet theres some lube in there too. but hey, its the BMW channel on youtube.

I'm certain its fake. Those flutes on the very end closest to the bike would have tipped over after sitting on a moving cloth for more than a fraction of a second. Also, the trick hinges on pulling the cloth downward, and the bike definitely pulled it straight out and up a little.

I like the plexiglass idea.

Exactly.

Must be fake now that I think about that.
