I tried this once, it was really fucking difficult to get shit into the bottle and arrange it without it looking sloppy because of the tiny opening you have to work with

you need a funnel / v channel scoop (we use them in labs sometimes) for the soil layers
good long tongs/forceps for the planting and such, they might have used seed in that one
