The blind-side is usually a female move.

^^^i just wanna note that your first response was much different and abundant w/ commas that were probably unnecessary for your original thought

I believe Spontaneous is saying that the situation you've described is typically experienced by any natural-born male entering into argumentative discourse with a female counterpart.

oh you want juicy details?

short version.

family drama around christmas. since then i haven't seen my brother and SIL nearly as much as i used to--which I felt was quite often. i interpreted the distance due to the drama in which we witnessed, not something we had done, and thus stupid b/c we were only witnesses to the shit storm and not the cause of the shit storm. I had ammunition to present which would've backed up our multiple reasons for not getting involved.

APPARENTLY we were being shunned for NOT inviting them on other various events (which we did but were blown off or never heard back about), not participating in an event (which we misunderstood the actual goings on of said event & missed--not avoided deliberately), and actively (admittedly) not moving an event to accommodate their schedule.

in other words...TRIVIAL

OH! too bad I'm the female and the male (my brother) blind sided me in this particular situation...

^^yeah...my brother's good at that.

and i just got emotional.

FAIL!

i even had NOTES! didn't use a single one

^no...but that was one thing that i definitely had invited him over to finish dividing up/do one night when I was "not inviting him to do anything" that i brought up that we needed to finish doing

^i think the worst part of this "drama" is that it's so much more trivial than what I thought it was gonna be.

I mean, I really thought I had made some epic fail and was gonna be in the dog house forever...APPARENTLY I just need to invite them to Bada

really though your brother doesn't give a shit, its his wife that's telling him how to feel

so once again, its still because of a woman
