I love hearing the people who bash buying a new car relentlessly, like there is never justification for buying a car new. There are times when it makes sense to buy new, and there are times when it makes sense to lease. Just because those situations don't apply to you doesn't mean everyone else is stupid if they have a different set of circumstances surrounding their purchases.

car - i'm pretty sure i will never ever buy a brand new car. (and buying new and leasing aren't the only options - the only reason people bash it is because buying a new car isn't like buying a house (or other big investment). it isn't (TYPICALLY - cause i guess some collectible cars gain value) something that gains value over time. the second you drive it off the lot you lose $$$$). but people can do what they want. my parents have purchased 1 brand new car in their entire lives!

I don't know why hotels don't bother me at all but buying a used mattress would totally skeev me out. Especially considering how many people have probably done freaky stuff in hotel beds. I guess I can deal with that because it isn't my bed.

the only couch i got used was leatherrrr haha - i didn't want used cloth. i wanted to be able to wipe that shit down.

i mean it depends on who it comes from. like my recliner i got used from a family friend so i was fine with it.

but i think the thing with beds is that people like bleed, jizz, pee, and vomit in bed more than they do on the couch

but yea, its prob mostly mental haha

I bought a mattress some time ago on here used. Looked new, no stains, didn't smell, and no odd spots. I did put a hyper-allergenic cover on it...


I told the gf at the time it was new, as I knew she would never have slept on it. She loved it, more than her own 1000 dollar mattress.


I still have it somewhere, in storage.
