So I have a very limited selection of foods in the house, for a variety of reasons, not the least of which is I don't have time for all that shopping and stuff.

Anyway, I had planned on cooking steak over the weekend, and they were on sale at Harris Teeter, so I got a couple of nice ribeyes. I was too busy and couldn't, so I still had them in the fridge tonight. I took one out and seasoned and cooked that one, and it was delicious. Well, I am really eyeballing that second steak, and in my quest to see how unhealthy it might be to have a dinner consisting of a banana, two steaks, and some bread, I googled "two steaks a day".

The following is the first article I found, and clearly it is the right move, as evidenced by the opening line of the article:
Quote :
"The classic beginner's mistake in Argentina is to neglect the first steak of the day."

Apparently similar to never get involved in a land war in Asia, and don't go in against a Sicilian, when death is on the line, is the simple mistake of neglecting the first steak of the day. Time for me to go have my second now.

Their unholy obsession with steak has made me really hope that I get a job in Argentina or the environs. Just don't tell fried chicken, because I feel like I'm committing adultery against it in my heart.

Nah man, I seriously ate a boneless ribeye from Harris Teeter earlier tonight.

It was bad.

And this is a shitty thread anyway, so allow me to feign elitism.

The other week I ate 3 steaks, or 4 if you count the elk I ate as well. Quite tasty, but satisfied my steak cravings for a bit!
