I'm due a new one, I was given this one in like 1998
3/24/2010 1:40:06 PM
6th grade.which was around 1994.
3/24/2010 1:40:44 PM
old. at least 10-12 years. and the maid ripped the antennae out a couple years ago so i dont get clear signal. half the week i wake up to classic rock, the other half to shreaking static
3/24/2010 1:46:43 PM
I don't have one.Way to rub it in, rich boy.
3/24/2010 1:47:49 PM
Maybe 10 years. Although I don't even know why I keep it plugged in anymore. I pretty much only use my cell phone.
3/24/2010 1:49:50 PM
I pretty much only use my cell phone.
3/24/2010 1:50:53 PM
1995ish
3/24/2010 1:51:11 PM
^^[Edited on March 24, 2010 at 1:51 PM. Reason : punchmonk uses my 1990s era alarm clock though]
3/24/2010 1:51:18 PM
I went thru like 6 my freshman year of collegeTop bunk + smashing snooze + tile floorCurrent one I've been rocking since '06 or soNothing snazzy, but it does the job
3/24/2010 1:51:46 PM
3/24/2010 1:52:18 PM
I have a couple, as I used to be very hard to wake upone is a giant silver alarm clock I bought from Target, but its' from like 2002
3/24/2010 1:52:41 PM
^^ i need one of thosebut
3/24/2010 1:52:58 PM
2000. paid $40 for it way back then. with inflation it would probably cost $1000 today
3/24/2010 1:53:27 PM
I always use my cell phone. But I don't need it. I always wake up before the alarm.
3/24/2010 1:54:46 PM
i use my cell phone and it does the best job, although i do wake up before the clock when / if I get to bed at a decent time
3/24/2010 1:58:59 PM
I spilled water on mine when I was drunk, and now the alarm doesn't work.
3/24/2010 2:00:39 PM
I've killed a few by slamming my fist down on the snooze button back in the day, then woke up late and pissed because I dreamt my alarm didn't go off
3/24/2010 2:02:27 PM
I honestly do wonder this about people. I inherited Ken's after mine died. He tells me 1994.[Edited on March 24, 2010 at 2:06 PM. Reason : Ken needs both his cell and the alarm clock. SLACKER!!]
3/24/2010 2:05:19 PM
I use my cell phone, but I have one by my bed that's set 15 min faster. I have no clue why I did that because I automatically think of the right time when I look at it. Oh and I've had this one for about 6 years.I'm so behind the times, but I really need to get a docking station for my ipod that has an alarm on it and all that. I think I'd use it then.
3/24/2010 2:07:08 PM
hahah I never have my time set correctly on clocks by my bedalways random times ahead so I don't know how long I have to get readyit's hard to do math when you're sleepy
3/24/2010 2:09:38 PM
another good question is if your alarm clock is set ahead? Our's is set like 7 or 8 minutes ahead. I always freak myself out thinking I don't have enough time. [Edited on March 24, 2010 at 2:11 PM. Reason : ^, ^^]
3/24/2010 2:11:20 PM
I've had mine for about 20 years, but usually use my phone as well.
3/24/2010 2:18:25 PM
I think it's from ~2001. I, too, use my phone most of the time as well. I am paranoid about setting two alarms in case one of them doesn't work or something.
3/24/2010 2:20:50 PM
26 minutes fastBut I know that so I always act like I have 26 extra minutesSo its pointlessI need one that randomly sets itself 5-30 minutes fast every night, so I won't be able to outsmart it
3/24/2010 2:20:52 PM
I remember setting mine 47 minutes fast for a long time, because that's how long it took to get up, get a shower, eat something quick and get to work on time
3/24/2010 2:22:52 PM
3/24/2010 2:24:48 PM
I need someone to set that and my microwave clock like 5 minutes fast without telling me.
3/24/2010 2:26:51 PM
I wonder if there are any links that make your computer an alarm clock that can be set to randomly jump ahead each day?
3/24/2010 2:27:15 PM
i got my clock radio as a christmas gift back in 5th gradeits so simple and the best. i only use my cell phone to wake up when im traveling.about a year or so ago i thought it died so i bought a new one at target that even changes itself for DST but it was too complicated because i could set multiple alarms so i just put it in the guest room when my old one somehow came back to life.
3/24/2010 3:20:02 PM
this is the exact model i have. GE. my parents gave it to me and they had it a long time. it doesn't have any dates on it, but i'd guess it is at least from the 70s or 80s.
3/24/2010 3:33:53 PM
I had that same shitwith more dust
3/24/2010 3:34:47 PM
3/24/2010 3:47:54 PM
I don't have a clock radio. I use my cell phone. If I were to get an alarm clock, I'd get one of those rolly things
3/24/2010 3:51:23 PM
I got mine when I came to college. The CD player in it doesn't work anymore but I just use the radio. I don't trust my phone to wake me up, especially after having a Razr. I set my clock 5 minutes fast and it slowly increases the time which is nice because it keeps me guessing.
3/24/2010 3:56:59 PM
1996 or so. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. My wife or daughter wake me up if it doesn't.
3/24/2010 3:58:41 PM
I just replaced my old one, but it was easily 10 years old. I probably spilled drinks on it at least 30 times over that decade. It once was white, but when i finally got rid of it it was brown.Whoever invented the clock radio should be a millionaire. Those fuckers last forever.Although actually, that wouldn't make him a millionaire because people only have to buy 1 per decade[Edited on March 24, 2010 at 4:01 PM. Reason : a]

Around 25 years old.I was about 6 when I got it.We went to Roses and there was an alarm clock with a green display. Not red. GREEN.I told my parents I wanted an alarm clock with a green display for Christmas and got it.Had it ever since.I bought a Sony clock about 10 years ago because it played sea shell and jungle sounds or some junk to help you sleep. That thing broke in less than a year and I went back to old trusty.[Edited on March 24, 2010 at 5:02 PM. Reason : s]
3/24/2010 5:00:59 PM
about 10 years old. I had an identical one before this, but it died. I've had this model for about 17 years.Though, I have an alarm clock on each side of the bed, and the second one is about 7 years old.[Edited on March 24, 2010 at 5:20 PM. Reason : .]

ancient
3/24/2010 5:23:46 PM
I use my cell phone.I have one those alarm clock lamps that gradually turn the lamp on to help you rise more naturally.. But it's ugly so I don't use it.It's a full on lamp, not a cool bubble light like Joie's.[Edited on March 24, 2010 at 5:54 PM. Reason : Here it is!]
3/24/2010 5:51:29 PM
^i use my phone as a backup. its saved me once or twice.and this:

3/24/2010 6:05:05 PM
wish it didn't work so well so I can justify getting a new one
3/24/2010 6:06:28 PM
i think i got mine around 10 or 12 year ago.its currently set 15 minutes fast, but i change it up every couple of weeks. i don't know that it really helps either way.
3/24/2010 7:43:50 PM
^^^^ i left that one in a chicago hotel
3/24/2010 7:46:32 PM
