that amounts to 22-23 before tax and those are typical prices at just about any chinese place in Raleigh.

LOLZ my math error came from ignoring where it said CHICKEN lo mein


i was factoring getting a combo meal(tso's) with lo mein option

but still, that is pretty pricey, if only by like 4 dollars

Best take out Chinese around (IMO) is Bean Sprout or that place at Seaborne Station off Peace and neither will be cheaper than wherever the OP went.

As long as they use good meat I'll be satisfied. I like the meat to not be like complete trash full of gristle and slime. If they use a high quantity of decent cuts of meat for their general tso's or perhaps some kind of beef and broccoli type dish, I'll be happy.

Some places will prepare the food for you with all white meat. My favorite Chinese place in Charlotte does that.

China King in Cary Crossroads uses all white meat chicken. Their chicken with cashew nuts is dabomb.

I never got the General at China King, I only ever got Chicken with Cashews. But it was a decent sized portion, always ended up being atleast 2 meals for me.
