One of those places where you hear great things, you wonders, you hear splendors, then you actually go

and its OK...its actually pretty good, but it doesn't blow you away, its not super fantastic like you were led to believe

But its still not bad...so you ask yourself "Have I set the bar unrealistically high? You know because I've heard so much about this place that I've built it up to be the fucking Taj Mahal of dining experiences, which is just not fair. I expected it to be best food I've ever had, ever in my life, and its not. Its good, but I'll never be able to appreciate it because those faggots from the internet hyped it up so much that the whole thing is not ruined for me. Its like when everyone jerked off to No country for old men and then I saw it and I liked it, but I didn't love it, but I might have if I wasn't expecting the world from it. Thanks faggots"

^^^believe me, Greg Hatem (owner Empire Properties) has more than likely given thought to purchasing that building.

there are other buildings that are further along in the process (and closer to the others in the group) that may open new restaurant(s) soon... but i cant really say anything about them.

i understand your sentiment, and have definitely been let down once friends' hype got my expectations up.

with sitti, i got lucky i guess, and didnt know a lot about it, just heard good buzz, not like super hype. and i wasnt lying when i said the [i]warak anab[/b] was the best i've ever had, but truth be told i hadnt had it but like 5 times ever at other places anyway. so if youre around raleigh, eat at sitti, it wont disappoint
