Took the boys to LEGO store at Crabtree last week. They loved it. I did too. We got a box of Duplo for our 3 year olds birthday party. But I have a TON of big sets at my parents house. Police station, airport, pirate ship, space shuttle, etc. Fucking love them.

MY LEGOS!!!! let me show you them

the whole street scape + little forest with Fumbler cutting down trees.

the one i'm working on currently.

it connects to the others. it will look like this:

i have one of those storage boxes that rolls under the bed full of legos from my childhood too. the old school pirate sets, a miami beach one, city, a bunch of others i don't remember. all these street scape ones are part of a current collection. each of the floors/stories in the buildings come apart so you can see the layout inside. they friction fit with smooth flat pieces. the grand emporium (shop) one just came out last month. Fumbler has a bunch of the new city & technic ones. helicopters, fire trucks, ems stuff, etc.

i <3 <3 <3 legos

oh! i have frank lloyd wright's "fallingwater" from the architecture collection on my shelf at work

Is the Fallingwater one falling apart like the real house? That thing has some major structural problems.

OMG...I remember mentioning this exact phenomenon to my mother something like 20 years ago

And she said, "You know what, Jeff? There's a word for that."

"What?"

"Life."
