olives should not be stuffed with anything - other than maybe a pit, you should enjoy the natural flavor of the olive, with the possible addition of quality olive oil

I like black olives... they are quite mild, and I can eat them by themselves.Green olives are too strong in taste for me, and I don't like them. I don't mind strong, but the taste is such too one-dimensional salty/acidic.Then you have various brown/beige colored olives... now those have great flavor, and what I would call a meaty texture and/or flavor. A popular example is Kalamata.NOTE: There are many varieties of black and green olives as well... I am referring to the common Spanish black and green olives.
