At what point do you stop classifying movies as drug movies? It may be obvious to classify "Spun" as a drug movie, but would you classify "Witness" as a drug movie? Both movies revolve around meth cooks. Would you classify "Goodfellas" as a drug movie, since there's more cocaine being thrown around in that movie than Scarface?

well the book and the movie are a good bit different. The book is definitely about heroin and shooting up, but the movie is more about general addiction.

I also found it odd the book didn't have the ass to ass scene like the movie, I figured Selby Jr was more fucked up than Aronofsky.
