I got a free Sierra Nevada neon light off of craigslist one time.
When I went to pick it up, some kid about 15 years old handed it to me with his mom watching.
I'm guessing he got it somehow, and she disapproved, making him give it away.

A guy I knew back in school got kicked out of a bar one night. So, the following day he posted on the L.A. CL that he was giving away his collection of 1000+ DVDs. First come first serve. He posted the bar's phone number as the number to call for directions.
