I dunno, I kinda feel like its understandable to wait that long to come forward. He's gotta be dealing with some amazingly conflicted emotions, and it was probably extremely difficult even now.

eh, i think he just avoided telling anyone about it cuz he didn't want his dad going to jail for it. but that's just me being snarky

i agree, it must have been hard on him helping daddy dispose of the bodies, but honestly - that's not an excuse in my book.

his grandmother is still alive and didn't want him to come forward about his dad.

she had to go on antidepressents for a year when she found out her son killed the lady.

he finally went against his gma's wishes so that the lady's family could have peace. He wants peace too in the case of his mother. He thinks his father killed her on a boat when he was five, but he can't get help from the coast gaurd. They are searching now for her bones as washed up since he reported this case.

if he was in jail for another murder, why not come forward then? i guess i just don't understand because i've never been in that position. but i like to think i've got enough good in my heart to come forward with information that could solve a decades old disappearance/murder, regardless of the personal strife it causes me.
