or

the difference in your ages will still remain the same though.

but i gotta say it is cool

ex: jane and mary

mary is 30 when jane is born

from then till when jane is 29, mary is always more than double jane's age
when jane is 30, mary is double jane's age
after that mary is less than double jane's age

so its a significant point in the lives of jane and mary
