haha i had one (only 10 pages though) due like last week or the week before at like midnight on the due date night. so i started writing it at like 3pm of course. i mean i had already done and read my research but still i need the pressure of the clock to write something worthwhile

like all of my A and A+ papers in law school (even if 25 pages) were written the night before

sometimes i fuck up and can't finish so i turn it in late. had a few in undergrad like that so i got a B+ cause it was a letter grade off

well, getting close to 8 pm on a saturday night and looking at TWW while in the computer lab, i think i have maxed my productivity for the day

I once pulled an all nighter for a 6 page paper where I hadn't done much of the readings. I never did that again. Usually I would start waaaaaaay ahead of time, so that when I got side tracked with other things I would still get it done.

i am unable to do anything ahead of time, unless it's something i actually enjoy doing

writing papers isnt in that category ... i tend to accumulate PDFs and PDFs of research articles and only end up using like 1/3 of them when im actually writing.

25 page paper on the relationship between the literary biographies of Samuel Johnson and his letters to Hester Thrale Piozzi, done in five hours on the day it was due with very little research ahead of time. I got an A+. It was the crowning achievement of my academic career.

Oh of course not, but you can have nonscholarly opinions in legal papers as long as they are adequately regarded as such. It wouldn't hold as much weight as a study done for instance, but it could be used to offer a different perspective. My professor is pretty good about allowing in what we want to write, as long as we have the proper citation. Like, I wouldn't take something you say and cite it as "many airport employees have stated..."

Writing the paper wasn't too bad, but going through all of the documents and books was a pain. If you want to pull an all nighter then do it in the DH Hill during exam week. They had free coffee and donuts from dunkin donuts in the library. That was a fun night. Almost my entire Civil War and Reconstruction class was in the library finishing our final papers.
