I'm a fan Particularly huge fan of the old school ones that take AA batteries. I had to call a surplus place and order 3 the last time one broke However that extra power will push it to like 3 days without turning off.[Edited on April 12, 2010 at 10:35 PM. Reason : a]

you guys remember the original mp3 player by creative, the nomad jukebox? it was the size of a discman and looked like one as well. 6 GB. i saw an ad for it in a magazine in 1997 or 1998 (when it had just come out) and thought to myself, that's great, no more CDs one day!

i had one of these back in the day (or something similar, i don't remember what model it was). had 512mb if i'm not mistaken. it got stolen out of my backpack in the locker room

I have a 20GB Zen that is at least 7 years old. It has spent the last 5 years in my mobile home at Lake Gaston where the temp is a constant 90-100 degrees during the day in the summer when nobody is there and 30-50 degrees all winter long. That thing still holds a decent charge despite the batteries being old, going through crazy heat/cold cycles, and going through long periods of discharge.
