I was buying it on my room mate's xbox. Now he's gone and I need to cancel it. I can not, for the life of me, find the buttons to cancel automatic renewal of my xbox live subscription. Where is it?

There are instructions on the site that say "log in here and cancel your automatic renewal." But when I log in, there is literally no visible combination of button clicking that will allow me to change the

automatic renewal : on

to

automatic renewal: off

I think Microsoft even puts that line in there JUST TO PISS ME OFF.

Click on Membership level --> where it says "automatic renewal" click "ON". Scroll through 3 pages of ads...finished.

You post on TWW about it, rather than calling Customer Service.

The easiest way and most effective way to get around this is call to your bank and report your debit card lost and they will send you and new one and it will freeze all automatic transactions unless you re-subscribe to them. This is much easier than calling MS.

If you are only doing a month-to-month membership you can cancel the renewal on the website.
