So my neighbor manufactures (or did) various labels......and I was at his apt last night and somehow it came up that one of them is Ed Hardy....He did some shit including some of their snow wear line and he's done with them but he's got a bunch of shit and he busts out this brand ski jacket and says, 'take it'....

I object and say, 'no, no.....' but he says, 'it's a chick jacket, and what am I gonna do with it'. So considering that I've needed a proper ski jacket all winter this is shaping up to be a good deal....the only problem.............

......is that it's Ed Hardy..... and I'm scared that if I wear it people will think I'm a douche bag tool when in fact, I'm just happy to have a $400-$500 free jacket (with Recco which I'd never heard of but apparently if I get in an avalanche or lost or some shit, a lot of ski resorts have this receiver thing that locates it and finds you) so I mean it's kind of a safety thing....right?

Refusing to wear something that is nice and free just because it is a certain brand is just as douchey as wearing that brand exclusively IMO. Man (or woman) up and wear the expensive jacket that was free.

I was trying to get a pic of the jacket from their site, but it's loading slow as shit and now my computer is all upset with me....

as for how one goes into the business of doing this, I'm not sure...I know you have to pay for a license and I have to assume there are a million rules/guidelines you have to follow but I don't know.....can't be cheap though
