This is EXACTLY how I feel... Even with all that money afterwards, I don't think I could handle knowing I went against one of my top priorities in a relationship: being faithful. Because even if you are both aware of the situation, it's still cheating. You're still not being faithful. I wouldn't be able to handle that, and money can only bring so much happiness into your life.

definitely not.

having seen my parents go through the motions of what happens after one is unfaithful, even if I knew about it and got to watch, i know that we would never be the same again...

i can play my own devil's advocate here knowing that after lots of therapy and couples counseling that the relationship can be repaired (somewhat)

however, there's too much uncertainty in how that could play out that the risk (and $) isn't worth it to me.
