I was thinking Fayetteville St since it's all nice now...leaning towards Raleigh Times since I love their Nachos + Burgers + $2 20oz PBRs.

what say you almighty tdub???

Definitely Raleigh Times, son.

If they like beer, definitely the saucer.

And Irregardless is always delish.

I worked at 42nd Street for years, and although the main menu isn't that great, the app menu is EXCELLENT. It's the only place I've found that serves buffalo fried oysters. Actually, any of their oyster apps (and steamed oysters) are just delish.

I definitely recommend this as a place to start off the evening. I always just go there and eat a full meal of apps. But you may just want to do your starter there and then head elsewhere. But if y'all don't like oysters, avoid altogether.

I worked there from 2003 to 2006. I would remember that order, so pretty sure I never served you. I worked the dining room though, not the oyster bar or the cocktail area.

Solas only works for certain people. It's a little too "Night at the Roxbury" for most hicks.

i'd agree with the second floor, but that is my least favorite. the restaurant has great food and the roof top i sweet but yeah, definitely a classy joint.

if you are going moderately classy then 42nd street, humble pie, buku, five star, poole's
