You buy a book with the angles in nice tables. And buy lots of extra material.

By the way, did you ever manage to fit a separate tub/shower in the master bath?

you can run it "flying" which means it bed's only on the wall and not on the ceiling.

or you can run 1x flat out from the vault and then a 1x down from the that. then you can bed the crown on the wall and the 1x coming from the flat 1x. basically you are creating a soffit.

most times it is left out when a ceiling is vaulted. i sold nothing but interior trim for a millwork company my first 4 years out of school and never saw a way other then flying that i thought looked good.

no, i just got a giant ass baller shower now
