^^^ no. at the risk of sounding like a selfish person, i simply fell out of love with her. i had absolutely no romantic feelings anymore and all of the underlying problems in our relationship came out. it became clear that our lives were going different directions, i wasn't getting what i needed out of the relationship, i felt trapped and everything that she tried to do to "fix" things felt completely forced. so i called it quits... hardest thing i have ever done was break her heart...

i never knew what it meant: "i love you but i'm not in love with you" always sounded like a load of crap, but i can attest that it is a true feeling because i have had it. i really do care about her, but i don't think we're right for one another.
