Ive had a few coworkers ask questions along the lines of:

'Ive had 20 people take the survey, but 5 of the 25 total have not....what percentage have taken it? I keep getting like 20% and it doesnt sound right, and youre the numbers guy, soooo?'

It hurts my soul every time.

I mean, when would a UNC student ever need to use the word excellent in a sentence?

Julius Hodge misspelled "again" twice in his Twitter update about CJ Leslie.

Just sayin'.

My favorite is when kids write that something "doesn't make since." Since when?

^^actually it was 'All' and 'inadequacies'

but 'all' wasn't legit - that's called needing new batteries in the keyboard

The last line was just for the fun of it.

P.S> Blackberry has now destroyed most punctuation habits as well.

but at least if you're using word it shows you the correct spelling, so you see it and say, "oh, so that's how it's spelled," so you remember the next time. that's how i am at least.

Spell check actually really hurts some people--ESL students who are guessing on phonetic spelling often choose the wrong word from the list. I think as spelling becomes less valuable the language will expand to encompass multiple forms of every possible word.
