I did and regret it. In my mind my count was very mild compared to my friends and factoring my age, years in college, and no long-term serious girlfriend.

To my 19 yr old (soon-to-be) g/f that had only been with one other guy, this number was ridiculously high. We have been dating nearly a year and a half, yet i still sometimes get shit.

I can't really imagine not sharing/being honest about this. It's not like you don't know they've been with other people. Even if their number is substantially higher than mine I feel more comfortable knowing it than wondering what it is. I guess it's a trust kind of thing with me. I honestly don't give a shit. I usually go for the nice girls, so I doubt I'll ever date a girl that's fucked more people than I have. My current gf has the closest number to me than any girl I've dated, and I doubt it's even that close. Shit, I probably know at least 3 or 4 guys she's banged personally, and it doesn't really bother me.

I never bring it up, but I'm not scared of the conversation. I think it might look a little worse if you run away from the topic...just don't bring it up...especially if you know it will bother you.
