my traditional leather wallet is a PITA. i only carry 3 credit cards, drivers license and health insurance cards, and yet the thing is like an inch thick. i can't sit on it in my back pocket cus my butt is too lean - end up with cheek cramps. i had a paper wallet at one point, but then i accidentally washed it and it fell apart

maybe you need cargo pants instead. i've liked most every Fossil wallet that i've owned, and i've had several over the years.

Check out http://www.all-ett.com/I got NRR one of their wallets for Christmas last year and he seems to like it, it's super slim. Maybe he'll chime in with a first hand review.

the thin wallet thing that deemarie posted is great except that it's difficult to get cash in it unless you fold the bills in halfdoesn't bother me much b/c i don't use cash a lotyou might wanna think about just getting a money clip and putting everything in it and putting it in a front pocketedit: just checked it out and i have a couple credit cards, DL and student ID, couple insurance cards, hunting/fishing license, big game report card, sam's card, concealed carry permit, a few bills, and some various other scraps of paper and business cards etc and it's all thinner than my Droid (in other words, i have a lot more shit than you and it's a hell of a lot thinner)[Edited on May 2, 2010 at 3:48 PM. I used to have the same problem with wallets... now I use a clip wallet. Much much better when you rarely carry anything besides cards.Basically this:Though it's supposed to be more of a money clip (i think?), I just use the clip to hang it on the inside of my back pocket. duct tape wallet + front pocket = cure for traditional wallet problems.

hell, if all i was carrying was cards, i'd just get a rubber band

The clip wallet Brandon has is really useful and doesn't get overloaded. Kind of like this one:http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_01499476000P?vName=Clothing&cName=Men'sBig&Tall&sName=Accessories&psid=FROOGLE01&sid=IDx20070921x00003aExcept with vertical slots instead of horizontal for your credit cards and your pocket periodic table.[Edited on May 2, 2010 at 5:42 PM. A cheaper version of something liek this:cards on one side, cash on teh other, and in my front pocket. I am a convert, I wont carry a wallet ever again.
5/2/2010 5:44:46 PM
wait a damn minute...I tried getting you a money clip a couple of years ago and it was a no go.

^^That was back in the day when REAL MEN had to carry wallets. In this modern age of comfort and convenience, perceptions have changed. Now anyone can be TUFF, regardless of how they choose to store their money and cards.
5/2/2010 6:28:12 PM
^^^^ do they make a version of that one that carries 100's?
5/2/2010 6:30:12 PM
i've always had trouble finding wallets i like...about a year ago, i stumbled on a columbia wallet/clip at kohl's on sale for $10 and it's by far my favorite it holds 4 cards inside, your license (viewable without pulling it out), and another card outside...the money is held with a springed metal clip in the foldi used to use the slim clip (picture below!) during the winter when i had to keep my wallet in the back pocket of my jeans, and then switch everything over to my regular bifold during the summer when i'd wear cargo shorts and didn't have to sit on it...now i just use the columbia

favorite wallet i have ever had. i took the little money clip out though and just fold by cash inside. the wallet is in my pocket, i don't need the little clip to keep cash in place.
5/2/2010 6:52:03 PM
^ i thought about doing that, but the clip's so unobtrusive that i figure i'd rather have it (especially since it just floats around in my side pocket most of the year...money would probably fall out without the clip)

^Those are far, far more expensive than any money-carrying device should ever be.
5/2/2010 7:45:36 PM
I picked up a slim leather wallet at the Coach outlet near Nags Head, when the lady was there looking at handbags etc. It was a little expensive ($35 I think, which seems a lot for a wallet to me) but it's been really good so far--holds 4 credit card thickness cards, insurance and whatnot cards, license in a viewable window, and cash, and in a nice tidy size. Stays admirably flat. Plus it keeps me from junking up the wallet with receipts etc, which I used to be bad about, simply because they don't fit anymore.

since i usually rarely have a lot of cash on me (more than to pay for a cab or whatever), i have used a thin metal clip for about 5 years now. it holds my 5-6 various cards/ids/etc perfectly, and i can always fold 5-6 $20s for cash purposes into it if i need to.i had a titanium one, but recently got a new silver one after i accidentally left my clip in a cab seat on my birthday and had to replace it.its excellent for being thin, lightweight and if you sat on it in your back pocket it wont make your sitting uneven or painfuleven better in front pocket b/c its so thin.very similar to what Wadhead1 posted[Edited on May 3, 2010 at 1:14 PM. Hahah who would pay a hundred fuckin' dollars for a wallet.I bought a leather bi-fold from that luggage store in CTC for like $8.00. Works fine.
5/3/2010 1:19:28 PM
I use to have a Costanza wallet until my mom got me a "clip wallet" for Christmas last year. Fucking love it. Looks like this, but with two slots instead of one for your credit cards...and on the back side is a clear slot for your driver's license:And she got mine as a Brooks Brother's outlet...I couldn't fine one on their online website.
