obviously this only happens to me...i have purchased a cart load of groceries. every item has been bagged when the all important bottle of sprite or pack of wrigley slides through...many cashiers/baggers make it a point to place these particular items on the counter, rather than in the bag

when i worked at grocery stores, i would ask them if they wanted it left out because at first i used to just throw it in a bag and folks would ask for it to be left out.

i was in kerr drug today and bought body wash and a coke...she bagged the wash and not the coke...i just found it amusing
