There is a bird outside my window that has been HURLING himself at the window allllllll damn day. WTF? How do I get him/her to stop? I'm getting concerned that it's going to hurt itself.

This has been happening for weeks at my house. I think that they see their reflection and are protecting their nest or something. I haven't tried this, but I think that putting up a piece of newspaper or other non reflective surface on the outside will help. Hopefully after nesting/mating/baby season (?) it will stop.

^ I taped construction paper up on the window... let's see if that works

This happened to me at this girls house a couple weeks ago. I would go outside on the back porch and this little bird would fly within a couple feet of me. I assumed that it was just trying to protect its nest, but there might be some type of deranged bird conspiracy going on here.

I always feel really bad when I see any animal in this predicament (bird, wasp, whatever)I usually try to help them outI have a lot more feeling for animals than I do for people, as a rule

^ You know what I have to say about this son.

I can surmise, I suppose.

The statement would contain two words and one of them would be the word "boy". The other word would come before the word "boy" and would start with an "m".

so I guessedI didn't really see how you could tie that to feeling more sympathetic for animals than people, thoughthat's not a request, mind you

There is a cardinal who built a nest in a tree immediately outside a large plate-glass window where I work. Damn thing is attacking the window all day--don't know if it's seeing the people inside or its own reflection, but after it being funny the first few days it's just kind of sad now.
