the nice thing about Facebook is that if you come off as creepy, no big deal

for example, there was this fucking beautiful student of mine last semester (she could seriously be a model, if she isn't one already)...when the semester ended I sent her a Facebook message saying hey, I stumbled across your profile, I see blah blah blah anyway maybe you'd like to hang out and get some coffee sometime

her immediate response was to take down all her photos and set her profile to private (or else just change her privacy settings so as to prevent me, specifically, from seeing these things)

Asking a random girl out on facebook who you've never met is creepy. I ran into this a few months ago when a friend of a friend added me (thought I knew him from a party), turns out I had never met him and he was talking all this creeper talk like he knew me and wanted to get together.
