going to be? and yogurt too!

WHAT HAD HAPPENED WAS

my fridge broke again and defrosted like all over my fridge and everything was about to get warm. my freezer was still cold but not freezer cold - just as cold as the fridge SHOULD have been. so i moved everything up there. then sometime yesterday my freezer AND fridge both went back to normal so my milk and yogurt started freezing. when i noticed i put them back down into the fridge (the milk sounded kinda slushy) and the yogurt was frozen solid.

how gross are they going to be? still edible? i think the yogurt might be fine but what about the milk???

i'm scared to even open it and do the smell test.

i just want to use it for cooking and on cereal so hopefully it will be fine. i mean i JUST bought it that is why i'm asking. i'd rather not waste it (even though its just like $2 or whatever) if i can still use it.



^ well this is probably hard for you to comprehend but i'm trying not to be wasteful with groceries i just purchased and have not yet used.

on a semi related note - kinda - do people taste their own breast milk? i mean it seems sort of normal to just taste it once - you are feeding it to your kid.

lactating could = pregnancy which would definitely be a BIG mishap at the moment.
