It's just targeted advertising. it's not a coincidence or something worth mentioning. It's just intelligence built into the advertising. nothing to see here.

I always wondered why Facebook sent me ads that had to do with Texas. Then I realized that my entire company's network is based near Dallas. Thus I have a Texas IP.

BobbyDigital,

there's a problem with context ads that the industry has not yet solved. it's easy to target an ad based on a few key words, but it's hard for an ad server to avoid inconvenient or unintentionally funny ad/content pairings. when these instances occur i believe they are worth mentioning. in short, you do not know what you are talking about and you should shut the fuck up.
