my preschool teacher, who sent me birthday gifts until i was 18, called me at work today. she asked if i remembered giving her some sand dollars my family and i found at the beach (a long ass time ago). not really but i told her yes. she said she gives them to people who "don't believe" (in what?), and she's out. she heard i was going to the beach next week and wants me to get her some more. i asked how many, she said "well...there's a lot of people who don't believe...so....ten"



i told her i'd get her some sand dollars. then she said "you know i've never met your husband. i wasn't invited to the wedding but that's okay. when you get back, could you bring the sand dollars and your husband over and we'll have a glass of tea or wine after work?"



my dad said he'd heard she had lost it and her family has kind of turned on her (in her opinion), so now she's lonely...and reaching out to her preschool students from 24 years ago.

I never really had any hot teacher. But I wouldn't mind giving it to my wife's fifth grade teacher, who is still pretty hot. My wife was in her first class out of college. And now I work with her.
