What do you spend on rent/mortgage and utilities each month? Where do you live? Do you have roommates? And does housing account for more or less than 33% of your monthly expenditures?

I am curious. Or nosy.

~$1150 for mortgage & escrow stuff
~$250 for utilities (elec/gas/waternot including cable/internet)

3BR/2.5 bath, 2 car garage. New Bern, NC

< 1/3 of my monthly net income...probably < 1/3 of my expenditures, too.

$320 (typically <$80 for utilities (except this winter GOD DAMN))
Durham, townhouse, 3br 3.5 ba.
yes 2. one has his family here currently (+4) they are all in the basement, but I'm sure they impact the water and power bills so he's gonna get a 1/2 share of them for the months they are here.
<33%

this is gonna go up a lot though when i move out.
