I know I do. Even considering selling organs/appendages... my job is that bad. Anyone else feel similar?

Not me, I just got a raise today.
5/20/2010 2:38:31 PM
i don't mind mine...i'd leave without much consideration if a better opportunity presented itself, but i'm not unhappymuch better than my last job, anyway...i figured that when i actively enjoy my job so much that i look forward to it in the morning, it's not really a job anymore
5/20/2010 2:39:58 PM

I want to quit, but only because I'd just prefer not to work at all.barring winning the lottery, I'm pretty happy where I'm at.

5/20/2010 3:17:16 PM
i used to enjoy it
5/20/2010 3:21:21 PM
^^oh yeah, i couldn't just do nothing all day.I'd read a lot, play guitar, volunteer, spend more time with my family and friends, take classes on subject matter that interests me, travel, work out, and i could probably hit the maximum character limit with all of the things i'd spend time doing.but all of that would only be rewarding/possible if I knew I was financially set for life, like having x million in the bank, living off of the interest or something. If it was a situation where I was laid off and had a year worth of severance, i'd spend all of that time doing whatever I had to do to prepare for my next career move.[Edited on May 20, 2010 at 3:26 PM. i wish people wanted to pay millions of dollars for my drawings of stick figures.
5/20/2010 3:33:48 PM
I too do not like my job. It's fun sometimes, but most of the time I hate it.
5/20/2010 3:39:47 PM
I love my job, I just wish that other people who are too retarded to follow documented procedures would quit though.

I, too, wish I had the financial freedom to do whatever I want.In lieu of not having to work, I often wonder if I would live a very different life if I had a giant inheritance coming. I know a lot of people from wealthy families who work for their own money now, but also don't have a problem financing very expensive boats, working just enough to pay the bills, being students well into their adult life (lets just say they're not going to med school either, lol), etc. I wonder if they would do these things if they had to worry about planning for their own retirement years.[Edited on May 20, 2010 at 4:07 PM. I'm in the same boat as BobbyDigital. Considering the fact that a full-time job is a necessary evil for my life, I actually enjoy the company I work for, who I work with, and what I do quite a bit. No, it is not my dream job (probably full-time musician or writer if I had to choose off the top of my head) but in reality, I have a great gig.
