5/26/2010 7:22:42 AM

5/26/2010 7:26:34 AM
I read it as "Black Huckabee"

Do we know what the poll question was? (...not trying to defend FOX. I'm just sayin' that there are different kinds of polls than ones that add up to 100%.)It could be:Which of these GOP candidates for president in 2012 would you support? (you may check more than one.)__ Huckabee__ Palin__ Romney...which wouldn't add up to 100%
5/26/2010 8:14:46 AM
I thought this thread was gonna be all the hotties on FNC looking like porn stars. Hell yeh! Fuck your ugly liberal reporters!
5/26/2010 8:15:54 AM
Pics of attractive reporters.
5/26/2010 8:22:07 AM
I too, read it as Black Palin and assumed FOX news had a secret black female candidate that was going to emerge and win the presidency.
5/26/2010 8:24:32 AM
New meaning to 'dark horse' candidate.
5/26/2010 8:26:51 AM
if the more than one option was the case, then they're dumbasses for not using a different type of chart. a circle automatically implies 100%. they could have done w/o the "back" in front of each name too.
5/26/2010 8:30:36 AM
DAT 190% PERCENTAGE?

Hey, you can fling shit at your friends as a practical joke, but that doesn't make it right.Similarly, making a pie chart when you have overlaps (total > 100%) is not correct.
5/26/2010 9:22:57 AM
LOL, a pie chart is categorically the wrong chart for the data and the fact that other people use pie charts this way doesn't make Fox News' usage correct, only reason to argue otherwise is because you're a fox news apologist
5/26/2010 9:25:44 AM
That list looks like a all star team of people who have made a career out of losing elections. If we can get Hillary and McCain to run again we can nickname this election "2008 Part II - This Time It's Personal".[Edited on May 26, 2010 at 9:28 AM. Reason : s]

5/26/2010 9:33:22 AM
pls to show how defending this usage of a pie chart necessarily equates to defense of FOX News, we're waiting[Edited on May 26, 2010 at 9:38 AM. Reason : LOL CANCER ON DEMOCRACY because you insist to know what you can't know, and likely vote]

^Thanks Joie. These days, people are so politically polarized.....
5/26/2010 9:44:34 AM
5/26/2010 9:46:02 AM
I don't need to prove that you're a fox news apologist because that's an opinion, fox's incorrect usage of a pie chart for the data is not an opinion and you seem to want to defend them in either wrongness which leads me back to that opinion...
5/26/2010 9:46:26 AM
yeah its pretty entertaining.i tend not to get into political discussions because it seems like when you disagree with someone, youre automatically dubbed an advocate for the other political party.you know. since there are only two.[Edited on May 26, 2010 at 9:47 AM. Reason : and it shall end there. <3 you guys ]
5/26/2010 9:46:35 AM
I've seen plenty of pie charts add up to over 100%. Typically, they do show proportions of 100%; however, just like in this case, they can also show overlapping proportions that have a possible summation of the number of categories within the chart (in this case, 300%)
