6/3/2010 10:42:28 PM
ugh i saw this earlier and it makes me want to throw up/cryit is super sadbut apparently not a crisis, so we shouldn't worry about it and, incase anyone was worried about BP, BP WILL OVERCOME THIS. no worries, tony hayward said so. he also wants his life back. good to know he can sympathize with the pelicans.
6/3/2010 10:42:29 PM
why don't they fly away? stupid birds
6/3/2010 10:42:45 PM

Every system is perfectly designed to produce the results that it does. While it is easy to criticize BP, their production of oil was only in response to the demand we as consumers have for the substance.Unfortunate as it is, this is the price of living in the society that we do, one of simultaneous marvels and tragedies. For every benefit that we share, we also have a liability for the cost.

6/3/2010 11:13:11 PM
Actually, I'm pretty sure the worst part is gonna be the massive environmental & economic ruin.
6/3/2010 11:14:40 PM
well yea, Im just sayin that this is really just the beginning of the oil hitting shore. Its hard to think about the magnitude of it lasting until august or so.

This is just proof that we need to get the fuck away from gasoline and focus on alternative sources. I'd give Oblama a clap if he put more money into that kind of research in response to all this.
6/3/2010 11:43:46 PM
The worst case scenario is that the leak never stops.
6/3/2010 11:44:12 PM
