yea I dont really know that much about Banjos but here is my take.Check the base to see if its plastic. If it is then I'd guess its probably just an older entry level banjo and prob worth $50 (if its in good shape). I think most silvertones were sold at Sears and I dont think they are really that sought after.But like I said I'm no expert.

^yeah that's what I'm thinking...although the whole banjo is made out of wood. I'm calling around at pawn shops and they are like "we don't want that shit!"

if its all wood then it has more potential to be worth something I think.any fancy designs/inlays on the neck? or anything else that would distinguish it?
