the moon is not always available, and while I have large pupils, they could never get big enough to really see what is going on, especially with trees blocking some of the light
6/8/2010 3:29:31 AM
the great thing about my flashlight is it also works as a weapon
6/8/2010 3:30:48 AM

I too have an Inova X03. It throws like a mofo.My daily pocket light is an Ultrafire A30B:My house and truck lights are Maglite LEDs of various sizes and types. The newer Rebel Mags kick more ass than the old ones, I think due to a newer reflector shape.Another one of my house lights is a Streamlight TLR-1 stuck to a CZ SP-01I have a bunch of other lights...One thing I'm working on now is an LED conversion for an incandescent headlamp. It's a Pelican 2640. The plan is to mount a Cree XR-E Q5 where the incan bulb was.So far I've got it wired up. The Pelican is 4 AAs, so I've got the power feeding into a 1000mA regulator.I got the Q5 and reflector from an Ultrafire A30B that didn't work when I got it. The Pelican with the Q5 is way brighter than the A30B, but that's because the A30B's regulator feeds 1000mH at 4.2v and my batteries are 3.7v (vs 1000mA@6v for the regulator I'm using in the Pelican)I'll be posting pics when I'm done. All I have to do is cut a piece of aluminum to mount the LED and reflector onto, then mount the mount into the body of the Pelican.[Edited on June 8, 2010 at 12:53 PM. Reason : ]
