No amount of can do it justice.Cute little "I'm not a nugget" chicken on the front. . . http://www.petacatalog.com/products/2011_PETA_s_Student_Planner-345-3.htmlRetarded propaganda geared to influence impressionable teenagers. . . Hahaha one of the pages for Thanksgiving Day (for Canada. . lol?) says alongside the holiday: "Thanksgiving is Murder on Turkeys Day" and then at the bottom the little bubble says "Did you know? There is no law in the U.S. that prevents any animal experiments - no matter how unnecessary or painful. WTF!?" Oh PETA./rantFree thread?

It really says "WTF"?Anyway, more power to them (not more power to PETA in general, but definitely in this endeavor)Getting more people off of animal flesh and animal products? Great... people will live longer, and so will the planet. What's bad about that?About the 3 pages:Page 1: I don't care about the blood and pus, as milk is pasteurized. But the bit about pesticides, hormones, and antibiotics? Most definitely true.Page 2: Giving up meat and animal products will in most cases mean losing weight (unless you stuff yourself with 2 pounds of bread and potatoes every day).Page 3: Thanksgiving is most definitely "Murder on Turkeys Day". As for the law, is that true? If so, that's fucked up and legislators better make some laws.
6/26/2010 6:55:23 PM
the planet will live longer if we kill its animals less and its plants more?

6/26/2010 6:59:11 PM
plants grow pretty fast to maturity.the planet will live longer because the animal flesh industry is one of the major pollutants of the planet and contributor of greenhouse gases. this is known, numbers are out there. maybe even the biggest one.

6/26/2010 7:12:18 PM
^^Not true, at least at HT. I buy Hunter Farms instead of HT milk because I think it tastes better, and they claim to be RBGH free. I'm sure there are other things in it, and I don't care that much.Farm fresh milk (the kind that is local and not homogenized) is really good.[Edited on June 26, 2010 at 7:20 PM. Reason : []

Whole foodsPublixRalphsVonnsand i think Bi-Loall carry milk that says no RBGH, Rbst, hormones or steroid antibiotics were given to cows by our farmsrs. Since the Euro ban a few years ago, most places say no rbgh but these places go the extra mile. As an avid milk drinker, its the only thing I buy.
6/26/2010 7:27:09 PM
you make it to publix often?
6/26/2010 7:28:51 PM
I LOVE Eating Tasty Animals.
6/26/2010 7:31:30 PM

Dear Peta,There is absolutely nothing you could tell me that would get me to stop eating animals and animal products. If you told me that fried chicken turned people gay, I'd stop at Priscilla's to buy lube on my way to Bojangles, just in case. If you said that cheese gives people ebola, I'd finalize my will over nachos.I get it -- eating animals and their products will kill me. Unfortunately, so will being born, and that ship has sailed. So I can either eat the ungodly awful vegan shit you guys are fond of -- and, thanks to a close relationship with some Indian people and an ill-advised relationship with some hippies, I have tried quite a range of ungodly awful vegan shit -- and live a little bit longer, or I can do things I goddamn well enjoy while I'm still alive. And when I die, slightly before you do, I will use my last breath to curse you.Sincerely,Ian "chicken holocaust" Booth

Eating animals and animal products won't kill you.Ask any professional athlete who would be in much better physical condition than any vegan if they eat an all vegetable diet. The problem isn't the product it's the preparation. Chicken is perfectly healthy. A double-down isn't.
6/27/2010 12:39:38 PM
There was a Peta chick on my hall sophomore year, and she'd cover her door with fliers and pictures of factory farms and shit, and honestly, every time I walked by that door, it made me hungry.^Yeah, I'm aware. Jesus, sorry for not going into explicit detail. Besides, fried chicken is more delicious than other kinds of chicken, and it will kill you.[Edited on June 27, 2010 at 12:41 PM. Reason : ]
