7/20/2010 8:16:52 AM

7/20/2010 8:17:34 AM

7/20/2010 8:17:42 AM
oh yeh, and CHILD PORN!!!!111111 OMG
7/20/2010 8:19:17 AM
I didn't know if it worked like that, but I guess it is transitive
7/20/2010 8:19:54 AM
wtf
7/20/2010 8:20:32 AM
^^how else would it work? that's probably one of the simplest examples of an in-law relationship.btw, that's not transitive, that's symmetric.[Edited on July 20, 2010 at 8:22 AM. Reason : . ]
7/20/2010 8:21:52 AM
7/20/2010 8:23:05 AM
itt JonHGuth looks silly
7/20/2010 8:24:25 AM
oh is he for real JonHGuthneathow are you doing, you dumb motherfuckerHEY HAS ANYONE EVER HEARD OF THIS "THE ONION" THING
7/20/2010 8:25:13 AM
How else? Referring to someone as brother in law could only work one way. He could refer to me as his brother in law but to me he is my sisters husband. If I say brother in law it sounds like I am married.
7/20/2010 8:25:56 AM
uh, no.you surely do come up with some stupid ideas
7/20/2010 8:26:42 AM
wow. just wow.
7/20/2010 8:26:47 AM
No one can rightfully be this stupid.
7/20/2010 8:30:08 AM
This is the conversation I've been having on my morning commute
7/20/2010 8:30:15 AM
actually, I kinda hear what he's saying...where do you draw the line?my wife's brother is my brother-in-lawmy sister's husband is my brother-in-lawhowever, I would NOT venture to call my sister's husband's brother my brother-in-law]
7/20/2010 8:33:20 AM
erm, the line is drawn after someone who's not married to your sibling
7/20/2010 8:35:44 AM
or a sibling to your spouse. However, evidently the line breaks if you try to do both]
7/20/2010 8:36:24 AM
good christ the dumb is spreading
7/20/2010 8:36:34 AM
oh wait, I am dumbit's early in the morning
7/20/2010 8:37:28 AM
...backs out of thread. apparently it's contagious...
7/20/2010 8:37:37 AM
no wait, it's gotta be YOUR bull.
7/20/2010 8:38:32 AM
nvm[Edited on July 20, 2010 at 8:39 AM. Reason : .]
7/20/2010 8:39:10 AM
maybeif so, he is certainly not heavy
7/20/2010 8:39:51 AM
7/20/2010 8:42:01 AM
I think the line is pretty clear but I did Google it to be sure when it was asked. Now the conversation is on if its smoother to drive fast over a speed bump.
7/20/2010 8:43:30 AM
7/20/2010 8:44:18 AM
The brother-in-law takes off
7/20/2010 8:44:44 AM
so is my brother's wife my sister-in-law!? omg.
7/20/2010 8:44:52 AM
people wonder why i've decided to scrape by playing records instead of getting a real jobthreads like this demonstrate why a real job would force me to kill myself
7/20/2010 8:45:01 AM
...because you'd have to deal with people?just become a scientist, you get to be smug with yourself in the lab alllllllllllll day
7/20/2010 8:46:44 AM
The project I'm working on now is a 2 hour commute from the office and I can't sleep cars very well
7/20/2010 8:47:18 AM
because i'd have to deal with people who don't know what "brother-in-law" means
7/20/2010 8:47:49 AM
Some morons on another team at my job had a rousing argument over whether the South could have won the Civil War if they'd had a 20th-century dump truck.
7/20/2010 8:48:54 AM
if we'duh risen on a mound of red river clay the first time, we wouldn'tuh have to rise again
7/20/2010 8:49:52 AM
7/20/2010 8:52:51 AM
I CAN'T SLEEP CARS GOOD
7/20/2010 8:55:39 AM
Damnit, in*
7/20/2010 8:56:05 AM
7/20/2010 9:01:25 AM
Yeah, precisely. The idea being that they could have somehow converted it to steam power and burnt coal to fuel it, and that its heavy armor would make it impervious to Union rifles and cannon.
7/20/2010 9:02:50 AM
the goddamn virginia didn't helpwhy would a dump truck
7/20/2010 9:04:55 AM
These guys think the Civil War was a bunch of dudes in wool suits firing muskets at each other in empty fields.
7/20/2010 9:05:28 AM
seems like it would be a simple enough matter to surround and capture the dump truck, if your side was numerically superiorand Grant wasn't shy about casualtiesalthough I don't think even Grant would give a fuck about htis
7/20/2010 9:06:39 AM
I'm pretty sure a dump truck would own the majority of the army as long as it didnt take a direct cannonball hit to the grille. So that argument although out of nowhere isnt really all that wrong.
7/20/2010 9:12:09 AM
skankinande are you coming out of retirement
7/20/2010 9:14:02 AM
You could use a wood-gasifier to power it as well, which likely would make the conversion easier.I'm having a hard time seeing just how useful one dumptruck would be to the whole war though
7/20/2010 9:14:50 AM
I'm bringing up all those lyrics threads to soak up the dumb, like throwing sand on oil.
7/20/2010 9:16:32 AM
7/20/2010 9:17:43 AM
a dump truck in the civil war would have been like an AT-AT if you put a gatling gun in it.
7/20/2010 9:49:37 AM
Ah, I forgot about weaponizing it. You could turn it into a land "gunship"...though I'd be hesitant to call it an actual tank before they put armor on top of the vehicle bed. That I would see being more influential on the battlefield, as opposed to just highly impressive transport capabilities.
