without googling...where does jetblue fly out of in NC? RDU, Charlotte, and/or Greensboro?
8/18/2010 10:45:02 AM
RDU definitely.. i've flown jetblue to nyc before. but their routes are fairly limited[Edited on August 18, 2010 at 10:46 AM. Reason : .]
8/18/2010 10:46:41 AM
Only flies direct from Charlotte to Boston and JFKIf you live in a major city with 8+ direct flights, it would be more enticing

sometimes its things like this that make me wish i was unemployed
8/18/2010 11:08:22 AM
Most of us wish you were unemployed. The rest of us know that if you were unemployed, you would just post more.
8/18/2010 11:12:09 AM
this is a great deal. I suggest you do it so I can continue to be employed.

8/18/2010 11:19:02 AM
This is totaly worth it if some dude comes out and starts drinking and screaming at all the passangers.
8/18/2010 11:21:47 AM
I figured, what the heck. I just quit my job, have about 10 grand extra coming to me in extra scholarship money, have no classes on fridays, and mondays class doesnt start until 1:30pm. AND my birthday is Sept 10th...so it makes a great way to celebrate my birthday!

Doesn't jetblue also fly to boston from rdu? (don't feel like looking it up since I'm on my phone atm)
8/18/2010 12:16:58 PM

8/18/2010 12:19:18 PM
Man this is tempting. I could chill with my friends in NYC
8/18/2010 1:36:36 PM
Where would everybody go? Seems like NYC and Boston are top choices.
8/18/2010 1:39:32 PM
let me know when you'll be flying on jetblue. i'll make sure to take extra care of your bag.
8/18/2010 3:26:43 PM
Of course they would leave out the only option I wanted: the AYCJ-6
8/18/2010 3:29:48 PM
I'd fly to NYCand from NYC I'd head to Portland and then San Francisco
8/18/2010 3:36:08 PM
I'd probably also head to Seattle to see my friends out there.
8/18/2010 3:41:35 PM
i know i'll be in SLC the first week in OctOther options are:Orlando Sept 11 for Central FL football gamePhoenix/Flagstaff areaNYCCaliforniaLas VegasCancunthose are all places (except cancun) that i know someone who lives there and i can crash on their couch for free
8/18/2010 4:41:26 PM
Have fun!
8/18/2010 4:43:04 PM
This sounds pretty awesome, I'd get the $500 version if I had some money. Got some people I'd like to visit in Idaho (close enough to Salt Lake City) and Austin, plus going to the Caribbean would always be nice.[Edited on August 18, 2010 at 6:39 PM. Reason : ]

8/18/2010 7:22:44 PM
soooo want to do this
8/18/2010 7:30:32 PM
i like how they skip over atlanta
8/18/2010 9:30:25 PM
^^^I could EASILY come up with the timeCash, too. However, doing so would greatly slow down my progress towards more important goals. I would love to do this as well, too.
8/18/2010 9:43:59 PM
what are the international taxes? are there any other hidden fees?
8/18/2010 9:48:11 PM
no hidden fees at allint'l taxes range depending on where they are. for example cancun is the cheapest and its about 70 bucks...and i think the most expensive one i saw on last year's list was like 200 bucks. Still a great deal, considering tickets to cancun can cost up to 500 just itself
8/18/2010 10:07:19 PM
Aw man, I wish I could afford to do this right now. I'd be all over it. Cheap tickets to my parents and up to NYC to see my sister and friends...[Edited on August 18, 2010 at 11:03 PM. Reason : to my parents, not home. raleigh is home.]
8/18/2010 11:03:01 PM
I did something similar with Independence Air, when they still existed, while I was at State. It was during the summer and turned out to be pretty awesome. Ended up going to Vegas, NYC, Orlando, and somewhere else for like 300 bucks or something ridiculous. There were blackouts on that one though, and the list of available destinations was somewhat meager. This one looks like a pretty good deal if you're free for a month.I'd do it if I didn't fly for free on JetBlue...and Delta and Continental and United and Southwest and Everybody Come down to San Juan, it's hot as fuck here, but you don't need a passport WOOOOO![Edited on August 18, 2010 at 11:26 PM. 8/18/2010 11:24:11 PM
does Jet Blue do this every September or something?
8/18/2010 11:33:59 PM
^how do u get to fly for free?and what are you doing in San Juan? I've never been there before. Got a couch i can crash on?
8/18/2010 11:47:21 PM
Airline pilot, based San Juan. I can jump on almost all carriers domestically.I'm in a crashpad for the rest of the month. Still looking for a place by the beach, so sorry, got no place for ya.Personally, if you're thinking about coming down here, I'd venture outside of San Juan. This place is too crowded for a vacation. Aguadilla/Rincon looks to be pretty sweet. I'm going to try to head out that way in a few months.
8/19/2010 12:00:54 AM
i gotcha; yea im looking foward to the month of September. Im only going to be able to go to one int'l place, so i gotta look and see what all JetBlue has to offer.I plan on making either a blog, or a (and i told myself i'd never have one) twitter to make updates on all of my travels
8/19/2010 5:24:33 PM
Every year this comes and either I can't come up with the 500 bucks or I can't take enough time off work.
8/19/2010 5:30:09 PM
This is actually pretty awesome for me since I just moved to Boston. I've already flown to Charlotte and back on JetBlue since I got here, I could use a few more trips to finish moving everything up and see my friends in Raleigh while I'm at it.Except that[Edited on August 19, 2010 at 6:42 PM.
