a series of local fishing accesses proximal to Durham. The Eno is largely wade-accessible, while Lake crabtree hates fisherman (thanks Lil' Cary) and you can only fish from places other than shorelines...which is like three places.[Edited on September 9, 2010 at 4:40 PM. Reason : d]

I have caught a 5lb bass and lots o' catfish there... and a couple of whopping snapping turtles- but you could just atomic elbow those and have turtle soup for dinner
