i've got a normal corn het for amelanism that you can have for free if you give her a good home
10/1/2010 12:54:03 PM
really? she would definitely have a good home here. Does she come with tank and trappings or no? I've got a 20 long and accessories but I was planning on using that for whatever we get for my gf (this thread is for her bday, she says she wants a ball or preferably a boa)but I'd like a corn, never had one and I don't have that super exotic bug[Edited on October 1, 2010 at 1:03 PM. Reason : how old?]

the red tail boa that I knew was really aggressive and would strike a lot. It even bit someone in the face. However, ball pythons are the shit and very friendly, as long as you raise them right.

yeah we want something laid back. my experience is with balls and one boa (forget the specifics, it was an old roommate's), and I loved them. Corns are chill too from what I understand, and are content with being handled. We don't need some beautiful exotic that she'll be afraid to feed because it's too agressive

Is Carolina Pet Supply still out in Garner? That's where I used to go when I lived in Raleigh.

Yeah, that was my fall-back if no specialty shops came up...and where we ended up going. Good thing though because we found a beautiful Hog Island boa there, supposedly extinct and increasingly rare in captivity. Most importantly though he's chill as hell, no qualms whatsoever with being constantly handledshe named him Pan
