I'm planning on throwing out a few pair of jeans I can't wear anymore and a few that have holes in the back pocket. So where is the cool place to buy jeans? I usually hit up old navy but would like to know where the rest of you guys buy jeans at that fit good and last awhile.
10/18/2010 9:35:45 AM
paying more than $20 for a pair of jeans is retardedso...wherever you can get them for $20 or less
10/18/2010 9:37:49 AM
trufi've been known to throw down 35 on a pair that fit damn good.
10/18/2010 9:39:13 AM
I prefer American Eagle jeans myself.
10/18/2010 9:39:48 AM
I get mine at the Gap or BR50 bucks a piece
10/18/2010 9:40:18 AM
I usually go the American Eagle route...but I've "splurged" on some jeans at J. Crew when they are on sale (think a $90 pair for $50 or less)...and there's honestly a noticeable difference. Pricier jeans DO fit better and last longer (I wear the shit out of jeans and American Eagle jeans wear out pretty fast). That being said, I don't like spending more than $40 on a pair of jeans and rarely do...but every now and then I will and it's worth it.
10/18/2010 9:42:21 AM
Being as broke as I am right now and in need of new jeans I'm going to hit up the thrift stores soon and pray that there are some AE jeans waiting for me.
10/18/2010 9:45:41 AM
$35 is my cut off. I go in with a coupon most times. I quit buyin ae shit cause all the dykes and fags wear that shit. Now I shop at gap, bananna republic, polo, and some old navy junk. And yes I. Can go in those stores and get what I want for 35. Product of knowing people that work there

Fuckin droid[Edited on October 18, 2010 at 9:53 AM. Reason : jkiop]
Anyone who uses a coupon for blue jeans is a billy buck faggot
10/18/2010 9:54:31 AM
I get American Eagle on sale. They fit well and hold up great. Last pair I got was I think $40 originally, but they were on clearance for $25, and then I had a 25% off coupon that they took on top of the clearance (they don't always do that there I don't think though). $20 including taxes.[Edited on October 18, 2010 at 9:57 AM. I do one of three things:1) Buy $20 jeans from American Eagle. Their jeans hold up very well.2) Hold a clothing swap with my girlfriends. Usually one of them will bring jeans that don't fit them anymore or that they just don't like. 3) Plato's Closet. I can get $200 True Religion jeans from there for just $20 a pop. And Lucky jeans there are only about $15.
10/18/2010 9:59:31 AM
my sister (who's husband is in the Airforce) buys me 1 or 2 pairs of CK jeans from the BX every year... those cost about 30 bucks a pop and last me forever. I also got a couple pairs of gap jeans, 1 j.crew, and some other pairs that I can't remember what brand they are
10/18/2010 10:01:57 AM
^^ yea AE jeans really do hold up well. I wear jeans year round 99% of the time I am out. I mainly just rotate between 2-3 different pairs that I have had for years now and none of them are even that worn out. The last pair I bought was the $20 pair from AE two years ago.
10/18/2010 10:04:02 AM
I used to get jeans for like $20 at Target or WalMart then I dated this girl for a bit and she knew this dude at Express that got me a good deal. I was surprised at how well the Express jeans fit me... they have lasted well and still fit great. I'd recommend it. The only downside is price... regular jeans there are like $60 but a few times a year you can get a coupon there to get jeans for ~$30.
10/18/2010 10:09:36 AM
I, too, live AE jeans. But my Levi's hold up best.
10/18/2010 10:11:15 AM
I go to Tanger outlets in Blowing Rock (I live close to Boone), They always have some ridiculous deals, and they have Gap, Banana republic, van heuson, ralph lauren, nautica, etc.I was there a couple of weeks ago and Van Heuson and Bass shoes had a buy 1 get 2 free deal, rofl. Or if you only wanted 1 thing you got 50% off, plus another 25% off if you donated a dollar to breast cancer. There's one near Raleigh now http://www.tangeroutlet.com/mebane
10/18/2010 10:24:12 AM
i coulda sworn there was one of those in smithfield too... maybe that's just a normal outlet store I've been to that tangers in blowing rock though- the fiance got some corningwear (sp??) there, and a pair of 120 dollar shoes for 8 bucks
10/18/2010 10:29:06 AM
^9 or doesn't want to pay full price for shit. But whatever
10/18/2010 11:38:04 AM
I usually go to Kohl's...I think they're called Urban or something like that. I don't know, they fit pretty good and they're almost always on sale. Got a pair yesterday for around $20 I believe.
10/18/2010 11:50:54 AM
i am a jeans whore.i still have a pair of marcianos i've had since i was 18. they still fit but they finally started to wear in the past 2 years.i also have pair of sevens that are reaching 6 years soon still look like when i bought them (except for some wear at the very bottom from dragging-i like my jeans loooooong :beatup)[Edited on October 18, 2010 at 12:01 PM. hahah Urban Pipeline are you kidding me?They make Faded Glory look like Versace
10/18/2010 12:03:40 PM
^^ I like jeans that are a bit frayed and beat up. They're soooo comfy. The older, the better. I have jeans from 1995 that still fit and are super comfy. They're not in style, but I wear them at my Grandma's house when I visit my parents. It's kind of crazy that women reach full size at 11 and 12 years old. [Edited on October 18, 2010 at 12:10 PM. 10/18/2010 12:08:53 PM
1995?weren't you like 11 or 12?!?!?![Edited on October 18, 2010 at 12:10 PM. Reason : i sure didnt! i was still in kids sizes at that age!]
10/18/2010 12:09:56 PM
I meant 1995. Just did the math. But yeah, I was the same size at 12 years old. I was a big kid.And wow, the jeans from back then were hideous. But comfy! [Edited on October 18, 2010 at 12:11 PM. Reason : f]

It's a combination of things. For one, JNCO jeans are very forgiving.
10/18/2010 12:14:10 PM
lol
10/18/2010 12:27:06 PM
I hit up the nordstrom rack because I have become high maintenance when it comes to jeans and I can get a good price on sevens.
10/18/2010 12:37:09 PM
I'm pretty sure gap is doing a recycling special where you get 30% off a pair of new jeans for trading in an old pair (they don't have to be from gap).[Edited on October 18, 2010 at 1:20 PM. Reason : .]
10/18/2010 1:20:38 PM
I'll get flamed for this but I like Sevens and I shop at Nordstrom. I paid $120 for a pair of jeans there and wore them 2 times in a year because I gained a little weight. I took them back a year later and told them I didn't like the way they fit and they gave me store credit for what I paid.I also took a pair back that I wore a lot for a year because my wallet wore a hole in the pocket. They did the same thing with the return. Buddy of mine lost a button on a pair of his and wanted them to sew a new button on. They did not have one that matched exactly so they refunded his money.
10/18/2010 2:31:33 PM
+1 for AE. They actually carry jeans that fit me.
10/18/2010 2:32:30 PM
I have a hard time finding jeans that fit my huge ass. Where can I buy jeans for short girls with big asses? This is my ass.[Edited on October 18, 2010 at 3:15 PM. Reason : I want to pay $80 or less]

American eagle jeans if you are a guy with big quads!
10/18/2010 3:31:45 PM
yeah, the people at buckle do a great job of sizing you and finding jeans for your particular body style... there house brand of jeans aren't outrageous, but you can easily drop some good money there if you aren't careful
10/18/2010 3:32:16 PM
Joe's Jeans & James Jeans<3
10/18/2010 3:39:36 PM
I have 2 pairs of jeans that I got at guess like 4 years ago for bogo that still look brand new. They are the most comfortable jeans I have ever had.
10/18/2010 3:40:28 PM
I can't believe I haven't read any JC Penny / Belk props.
10/18/2010 4:00:42 PM

10/18/2010 4:52:58 PM
i like citizen and joe'si have had good luck with these, esp joe's, as someone who is short with a buttsometimes i have a really hard time finding jeans because the ones that fit my waist don't fit my butt and thighs. waist is smaller, butt is the issue (and sometimes thighs)i carry my weight in my bottom half...although recently i've carried it everywhere since i've gained weightBUT YESTERDAY i put on a pair of citizens and can almost button them. 2 months ago they wouldn't fit past like my kneesgo me, go me!
10/18/2010 4:55:28 PM
You can get Lucky Brand for cheap at T.J. Maxx sometimes.Unfortunately they are always sold out of my size.
10/18/2010 5:15:31 PM
Express
10/18/2010 5:24:34 PM
I used to buy Carhartt jeans until they got really cheap making them. The pairs that I have that are 5+ years old are the only ones I still have, then ones I've bought since then are all worn out. Now I just buy jeans at Wal-Mart.
10/18/2010 9:44:28 PM
I go to American Eagle for my jeans and they last forever. I never pay more than $25 for my jeans.
10/18/2010 9:55:32 PM
