i'm out of water... what's the nearest store next to campus? what transportation is there?
11/1/2010 12:55:29 AM
I probably shouldn't humor this question but whatever. What PART of campus do you live on, or are currently at? If you live in a dorm, what dorm? This is significant in relating you to any one of the numerous outlying stores.
11/1/2010 12:57:39 AM
Protip: Dorms have sinks and water fountains. They're free. I know it won't have that pure taste that bottled tap water has, but straight up tap water has never failed me.
11/1/2010 1:01:07 AM
i live in wood... and tap water ish disgusting...
11/1/2010 1:02:47 AM
No. No it's not.
11/1/2010 1:04:00 AM
yes, yes, it is...
11/1/2010 1:09:17 AM
^ in this case, yes. YES it is. Wood has terrible water, came out milky white when I lived there (yum). It was God awful. However, the C-building has a water fountain, that is your only bet.[Edited on November 1, 2010 at 1:12 AM. Reason : if not there is a crown gas station .25 miles from you...head toward dan allen, can't miss it.]
11/1/2010 1:10:54 AM
I mean, dude, if you're really desperate, just get up and walk out to Western and head West. Isn't there a little gas station right next to the Avent Ferry Complex? That would probably have bottled water. If they don't (or if it doesn't exist because I can't remember), then keep walking down to Dan Allen--there's a convenience store there.Or you can look for any water fountain or drink machine on campus. Wood is kind of a shitty location though, and you don't really want to be up around Talley in the middle of the night (gun get stabbed).
11/1/2010 1:14:30 AM
the 8/15 (I think that's the name) convenience store is right in the avent ferry shopping center and should still be open, but I'd check first...it's the one next to great clips and the ABC store.
11/1/2010 1:30:47 AM
short of that, you'll have to walk down to that gas station that's on the corner of western and dan allen (unless you walk to hillsborough st)
11/1/2010 1:31:28 AM
oops on the double post..early onset parkinsons
11/1/2010 1:32:02 AM
just contact your local "water" dealer there, blazy....
11/1/2010 1:33:36 AM
Wait, what?
11/1/2010 1:35:45 AM
thx for the info peeps... i was looking for packs of water tho... i has no connection to a water dealer nor where to find dem...
11/1/2010 1:49:13 AM
tap water has flouride...more healthy than bottled water anyways
11/1/2010 1:51:00 AM
Blazy has cottonmouth ITT
11/1/2010 1:52:07 AM
ask your neighbor
11/1/2010 1:55:02 AM
This seems as good of a place to ask as any other...what time is the Cookout on Western open till?
11/1/2010 2:13:46 AM
lol at being "out" of water. But no, go ahead and pay money to drink someone else's tap water.
11/1/2010 7:56:56 AM
I recommend a water pitcher filter, keep it in your fridge and always have cool clean waterI got one of those in-sink brita filters but it had a crappy plastic fitting so it always fell off. I too lived in wood and didn't trust the water
11/1/2010 8:19:13 AM
Nobody on TWW is going to sell you weed.
11/1/2010 9:07:01 AM
The OP could suck it up and not be a bitch. Water is water no mater where it comes from. And 'milky white' just means that it contains a lot of air. If you let it set long enough it will clear up. Kid's nowadays are such pussies.

I thought 7-Eleven sued them and they had to change their name.
11/1/2010 1:52:02 PM
Pretty sure this is some kind of drug slang. Not actual water.
11/1/2010 1:53:23 PM
man you know them little roses in glass tubesthose glass tubes are used for crack pipesthat is like the only reason convenience stores stock 'em

make sure the sinks or water fountains don't add to your Rads points.
11/1/2010 3:32:09 PM
^^^^ pretty sure he means H20, but....Water
11/1/2010 4:04:15 PM
so i just invested in a water bottle... is water fountain water filtered or is it just tap?
11/8/2010 12:56:52 AM
...you invested in one?I've got like ten I've gotten for free from NCSU events. Fountain water from the dorms/buildings on campus has ALWAYS tasted better to me than tap water. But dunno, maybe because it's colder.
