LOL at the duct taped baby

12/12/2010 3:51:17 PM
Yeah, that pretty much sums it upUnfortunately, for me, any present that I wrap turns out looking like the product of a semi-retarded toddler who got into the tape and wrapping paper
12/12/2010 4:02:31 PM
I make my girlfriend giftwrap for me.
12/12/2010 4:04:35 PM
where might I acquire one of these so called "girlfriends" ?
12/12/2010 4:07:16 PM
I like to wrap presents! It's really not that hard. But I did LOL at the "magic trick" thing
12/12/2010 4:11:34 PM
lol, I remember first seeing my kindergarten teacher doing the scissor sliding trickI was all like:
12/12/2010 4:13:56 PM
lol ... TheBullDoza has a hard time wrapping presents. I don't understand why men, who usually take such pride in their fine motor skills, are unable to cut and fold paper.

The narrator is very unmanly. He sounds like a 15 year old who probably watches Glee.

i thought it was good.i sincerely thought it was going to be a video about tin foil though.

I am a present wrapping god. But then again I paid about 85% of my high school marching band assessment through many many many hours of gift wrapping.

One of my favorite parts of Christmas is wrapping presents. My presents are always the prettiest under the tree!
12/19/2010 7:51:19 PM
this reminds me that I we need to wrap presents!

The "No visible tape" is a little odd, but looks very nice.

I'm a woman yet haven't mastered the scissor sliding trick
12/20/2010 1:32:31 PM
I don't wrap presents. Problem solved.

haha...I'm glad I'm not the only one who likes craft paper
12/20/2010 1:49:44 PM
I usually try the scissor sliding trick once every year. Turns out the same every time and I just mumble random stuff about a conspiracy as I march out of the room to leave my wife to wrap everything.
12/20/2010 1:50:31 PM
12/20/2010 2:12:36 PM
stick that shit in a fancy bag with some colorful tissue paper.
12/20/2010 2:13:20 PM
The scissor trick has as much to do with the paper as the sharpness of the scissors. If you get the cheap shit, it's impossible to cut nicely.
12/20/2010 2:52:23 PM
according to my wife, this is the greatest thing in the history of wrapping paper manipulation:Now, as for me, I fall into the
12/20/2010 3:06:47 PM
It just takes time and patience. And with practice, you get pretty quick and good at it. Anybody can do it, but it takes the time and patience and practice. If you really and truly cannot properly wrap a present, then you may have a disability of some kind.
12/20/2010 3:21:22 PM
^ Yeah, it's called having a Y chromosome
12/20/2010 3:23:30 PM
I never wrap shit. I swear by those little gift bags with the tissue paper. I'll stick shit that's not even suppose to go in there in there just so I don't have to deal with wrapping it.
I've always been pretty good at wrapping gifts. However, this is my first 'real' Christmas with my boyfriend and he is showing me up.It's depressing; I thought this skill would be reserved for me.
12/20/2010 3:25:17 PM
Yeah, I also believe my boyfriend is better at wrapping than me.
12/20/2010 3:36:22 PM
i wrapped a few gifts this year but my wife did most of them. she even had the girls come over for a gift wrapping party with cocktails
12/20/2010 3:42:29 PM
I used to wrap presents better than se7entythree, but she watched me do it and now she's just as good...but faster. I'm slow.
12/20/2010 4:01:50 PM
Bows. Gotta do the bows too and watch the old ladies fight over them when the presents are opened.
12/20/2010 4:09:02 PM
now you've gone and used colorYOU'VE TAKEN IT TOO FAR, MAN
12/20/2010 4:09:41 PM
I only do it because I understand the fact that most people don't like brown. That, and craft paper takes longer to wrap with (and requires more double sided tape) since it's thick. Some slightly lighter weight craft paper would kick ass.[Edited on December 20, 2010 at 4:12 PM. Reason : At least the paper isn't too loud]
12/20/2010 4:11:43 PM
if you want to do the sliding scissors thing, you have to sharpen the scissors first. take a 12" of aluminum foil and fold it into a 3" square, so that you have several thicknesses to cut through. then take the scissors and cut small strips off the aluminum until the scissors are sharp. take some cuts at the tip and some cuts at the base of the blades so that they are sharp all the way down. if your scissors aren't too bad it should only take 3-4 snips. you can save the rest of your aluminum square for next time. I mailed all my presents to mom's this year, so I guess I'm going to just get some gift bags and shove everything in those when I get there.
