You may think I have the best of both worlds, but in fact, i find it hard to fully integrate into either human or elven society. It's quite lonely, really.Just feels good to get that out there.

True- the sad plight of discrimination is the a hardship faced by all too many children of fantastical mixed-race heritage. While it is similar to the unjust treatment some non-fictional children of mixed race face it is made all the harder to bare by the fact that the only career field you won't face discrimination in is that of convention booth babe. While this might seem to doom male half-mythical half-breeds to a life of prostitution to creepy fetishists it seems they're not quite so bad off; I've heard homo-elfus men (I think that's the scientific term for you "people") take to dressing in drag like a half-troll takes to eating homeless people under bridges.*sigh* when will the world learn not to be threatened by people whose parentage challenges are outdated concepts of racial identity. Obviously that doesn't apply to halfies who eat people. That's still kind of threatening even if they just eat homeless people; I mean I might not consider some inter-species abomination a real person but I do know that homeless people are still people no matter the color of their skin (as long is it's not something weird like blue or freckled). That goes for ones that are part Eskimo too- even though studies show the half-eskimo homeless population is responsible for 99% of all car-harpooning related deaths since statistics were first recorded in 1924.[Edited on December 19, 2010 at 5:23 AM.
